Jonathan Smith

Jonathan is a Senior Content Executive here at Glass Digital. Writing has always been his passion, and the role allows him to do what he loves all day long. He particularly enjoys the challenge of finding new and creative ways to cover a wide range of topics.

He has a BA in English Literature and an MA in Creative Writing, which have really helped him when it comes to thriving in a creative environment. These qualifications have also prepared him for this specific role on a number of levels, equipping him with a wealth of grammatical knowledge and the ability to adapt his writing voice for different clients and websites.

Time at Glass Digital

As a Senior Content Executive, Jonathan produces a variety of content for our clients, including content marketing pieces, guest posts for other websites, and optimised copy that helps our clients’ websites to rank as highly as possible, as well as offer a positive user experience.

As a senior member of staff, he has also taken on more responsibility when it comes to training and mentoring his colleagues, as well as providing constructive feedback by editing their work and offering comments. He’s heavily involved with keeping the team up to date with the latest developments within each of our clients’ industries, too. This all goes towards helping us to offer a high-quality content service.

Industry Experience

The main thing I enjoy about my job is that I get to write all week long, which I love. Working for an agency is ideal too, as it allows me to get involved in a wide range of projects, so no two days are the same. For instance, on a Monday I can be writing about summer fashion trends and by Friday I'm lost in a piece about virtual reality.

I also like finding out more about a client to really understand their USPs and expertise — one of the perks of the job is producing content that they really love and are proud to host on their website.
