Glass Digital’s Head of Marketing to judge North East Marketing Awards
On December 1st, the North East Marketing Awards are returning to Newcastle to celebrate the region’s best in marketing, digital, and PR. Our Head of Marketing Jen Macdonald has been asked to join one of the judging panels at this year’s event.
The awards are produced by Echo Events & Association Management and will be held at the Hilton Gateshead, located on Newcastle’s stunning Quayside.
There are 15 categories in total, recognising campaigns, agencies, and in-house teams that have done exceptional work in our field.
Ahead of the award ceremony, event organisers ask a panel of judges to interview each finalist in order to understand their entries in further detail and have the opportunity to ask relevant questions which may help nominees stand out from the crowd. The judging day will take place on November 10th, where each judging panel will decide on a winner ahead of the ceremony.
Jen has been asked to judge the Brand Creation of the Year (In-House) category, sponsored by SDAdvertising, along with two other fellow judges. They will be looking for a clear strategy and proof of effective implementation, along with the long-term aspirations of each brand, to establish whether they meet the category criteria.
Jen’s fellow judges are recognised as some of the most talented minds in the business and have therefore been granted the opportunity to select a worthy winner to represent the North East.
Glass Digital is no stranger to the NEMAs after being shortlisted for five marketing awards at last year’s event, including a nomination for Jen as Rising Star of the Year.
To top off this honour, Glass Digital have also been shortlisted for three awards at the 2022 NEMAs. These include Agency of the Year (over 20 employees) and Rising Star of the Year for both our Head of Technical SEO, Marcus McConkey, and Performance Marketing Manager, Karina Bajega.
As a result, the team will also be attending the judging day as interviewees, so we wish them the best of luck in their entries.
