Siobhan is a Content Executive here at Glass Digital. She’s a keen researcher, has a background in journalism, and enjoys being out of her comfort zone, which really helps when she’s writing about a topic that’s completely new to her.
Having previously worked at a market research agency, Siobhan is well-versed in collaborating with lots of different clients that have their own perspectives and goals. In addition to this, she has a Masters in Journalism and has written for a whole host of print and online publications. This has all given her the skills she needs to thrive as a Content Executive at Glass Digital.
Siobhan loves that her job allows her to use her writing skills each and every day. She also appreciates that she has direct contact with all of our clients — this is a huge part of what helps our content service to stand out, as all of our writers are able to collaborate and have honest conversations with the people they’re working for. This isn’t something that you’ll find at every agency.
The bulk of her work involves writing outreach articles and optimised content for our clients’ sites. This means she spends a lot of time researching topics and carrying out keyword research, so her copy is as informative and targeted as possible. She also proofreads work for the rest of the team, which is another aspect of the job she loves. This allows her to give and receive helpful feedback, as well as pick up some extra writing tips.
One of my strongest areas is research. As a result, I enjoy writing about more technical or specialist topics that bring me out of my comfort zone.
I also have a background in journalism, so I've always liked keeping on top of trends and looking for new angles that can give the content I produce an edge. We get plenty of time for training and personal development, too, and part of that includes making sure we're up to date with what's happening in the world of SEO, as well as in our clients' industries, so my curiosity comes in handy.
