Looking to gain exposure for your brand? Getting your products featured online can do wonders.
Marissa is our Outreach Team Lead here at Glass Digital. She joined us as an Outreach Executive and, after proving that she was a talented link-builder who’s well-organised and a great mentor, she was promoted to help manage the team. She loves leading a team of people who are passionate about getting the best possible results for our clients. She also enjoys the collaborative feel at Glass Digital, as it means everyone shares ideas, and there’s always someone who can help you with a particular task.
Before joining Glass Digital in 2016, Marissa studied advertising at Northumbria University. Part of her degree involved gaining work experience at a PR agency, where she realised she loved working with a range of different clients. The variety is something she continues to enjoy as a member of our outreach team.
As Outreach Team Lead, Marissa’s role involves securing coverage and links for our clients on high-quality websites. Our outreach team work with journalists, editors, and complementary businesses to build relevant and authoritative links that ensure our clients’ websites rank higher on Google. A big part of their work also involves staying up to date with all of the latest news and trends from different industries, so they can keep their pitches fresh and effective.
Since becoming Team Lead, Marissa has started to train new members of staff to help them get up to speed with the latest SEO knowhow and the techniques we use in our work. She trains her whole team once a week so they’re always developing their skills, and she’s on hand to answer any questions they might have.
I like my job, as I work alongside a great team who are passionate about what they do. The wider company and other teams are also really helpful and always willing to lend their advice, which creates a collaborative atmosphere that it's great to be a part of.
I also really appreciate that the company's directors are happy to take our ideas and concerns on board. This really helps Glass Digital's employees to feel valued, as we know our opinions matter.
